Hit post too soon - RICO is going to be relatively hard to prove. 18 USC 1951 is going to be an easy slam dunk. Locate a semi that’s going interstate, get their information and/or video that it’s been stopped by the idiots, then go video the idiots uttering threats or assaulting cars and you can arrest them. Game over and no need for further investigation plus they can go away for twenty years.
The Mafia didnt shut down cities and destroy businesses yet they were prosecuted under RICO charges.
Bingo, and they would protect businesses. Sure they had to “ wet their beaks” but at least they knew they were going to be safe...
I wonder how many people caught in this traffic shut down can’t wait to vote Democrat in November?
And what charges are those that could have been filed given the fact situation? None.
These people are literally protesting nothing.
What happened to the NFAC threat to burn this sh!+ down?
All talk and negligent discharges?
On the bright side, if one of them gets hurt or sick, EMS can’t get to them. Of course, then they’d sue the city.
Not much sense doing this in the Twin Cities Metro area. It will only remind people of the ruckus they endured over the entire summer of 2020. This may be enough to change 200 vote or so. 200 votes, you say? remember 200 votes gained is also 200 votes lost; net change for Trump is actually 400 votes narrowing the margin of 40,000 votes since 2016.
When the police abdicate their sworn duty to enforce the law I lose all respect for them. They sit on their fat asses watching as cities burn, entire states burn, & innocent people lose businesses.
Please spare me the “they have orders to stand down” crap. Either enforce the law or quit. Easy decision. Be a cop & uphold your sworn duty or tremble before an illegal order from a dictator. Again easy choice.
Pick one cops: protect & defend the citizens or protect the savages destroying cities.
Newsflash- cops work for the government. They will obey their state overlords. They are not on our side.
Prepare to act accordingly.
