I think, in the beginning of this seige, there WERE two names for this. The Mail-In Ballot, and the Absentee Ballot.
Lately, the mainstream news-whores seem to be conflating those, in order to confuse people.
Since absentee ballots are frequently mailed in, as from military or people away from their legal residence on Election Day for whatever reason, there needs to be a new name for the unsolicited mailing OUT of live ballots to all registered voters .... especially since so many people are still on voter registration lists who no longer live at that address, perhaps are even deceased. That is what is most objectionable. Can anyone think of a clear descriptive term for that? We need one.
