A 77-year-old military veteran was attacked in California for wearing a MAGA hat supporting President Trump and a Back the Blue mask with a blue line in support of police, according to a report.
The victim, who did not want to be identified, told KRCR-TV the attack came out of nowhere, surprising him, last Friday in broad daylight at the Red Bluff post office.
He said he was approached by a man and woman: "She looked at me and she goes, 'We just don't like people like you.' Just kind of got shocked a little bit and said, 'Well, that breaks my heart,' and no more sooner out of my mouth, I get hit on the left side of my head. "

At 77 years old, at that point, the lead would be flying.
The assailant made a big mistake if he attacked the man IN the Post Office. That is a federal offense with heavier penalties than if just on the street (California leftist judges can’t beat a federal indictment. No bail!!!)
Then check the guy’s citizenship/immigration status. Adios pendajo after you serve your sentence with the White Aryan Nation guys in the cells next to you.
Oh, did I mention, all Post Offices have security cameras?
He should have shot them.

Now that I re-read the story, I have to really slam Fox for the implication (include in the subheading) that the veteran “blames himself.” Never in any quote did the veteran say that, just that he “didn’t see it coming.”
Come on Fox, you need to be better than that,
He is also a 30 year LE retiree and regretted his temporary lack of situational awareness. That’s what he was blaming himself over.

It’s also a federal offense to strike a senior..federal gray bar, up to $5k fine....and did I mention a step up in the charging statute
