Now that I re-read the story, I have to really slam Fox for the implication (include in the subheading) that the veteran “blames himself.” Never in any quote did the veteran say that, just that he “didn’t see it coming.”

Surprised they didn't quote him as saying that he blames himself and his "White Privilege."
