Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer invoked the "two-hour rule" Tuesday, a measure that constrains the scheduling and duration of Senate committee meetings.
The move is intended to retaliate against Republicans, who have agreed to vote on confirming President Trump's nominee to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death.
Under the rule, no Senate committee or subcommittee can meet after the Senate has been in session for two hours or after 2 p.m. The move potentially delays a briefing on national security and a confirmation hearing for Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf.

A pathetic move easily circumvented. Besides, it does nothing to delay or stop the Senate from confirming the President’s nominee to replace RBG. This is nothing more than political theater to appease their demented base that they are doing “something”.

I still say the dementedrats will enlist the help of leftist judges to deem the President doesn’t have the power to make this appointment. Why wouldn’t they, when there is absolutely NO consequence for doing so?

Packing the court will make the Judiciary subservient to the Legislature. Don’t see how the SC buys into this. Power is most important in the Swamp. Loosing power is the ultimate disgrace.
