Yes. There have always been “domestic”, “economy”, “foreign”, Etc. topics for debates.
Questions like this make me wonder if people commenting have ever seen a Presidential debate? Or did you not pay attention?

I don’t use Presidential debates to decide on a candidate so I rarely watch them.
