With past Presidents she could and did threaten enough they comprmised....not so with Trump and she still doesn't know how to 'handle' him.

Nanzi is the single reason the Dems are looking at being bull-rushed with respect to the Supreme Court - what should have happened in '18 is that the Dems should have sat down with Trump and said, hey, we're in majority now and we have this supreme court justice who's in her 80's and we'd like to have an input in her replacement. So what are you offering, he would ask? And that's how politics is done everywhere there's a representative government.

Not for Nanzi. Politics for her became a scorched-earth, take no prisoners personal enmity, and has left her party with nothing to offer except empty threats, hence no influence on a process they might otherwise have affected. A bogus impeachment, tearing up the President's speech on camera at the SOTU, these things closed every door that otherwise would have been cracked open at least. I'm hoping she does impeach and forces her own party's House members to vote yea or nay a month before they stand for re-election. And take the consequences.

Well Frankly she not only has the power of her position but it's purse, and her own purse as well......which all can be used to buy loyalty and or punish. Pelosi uses it all ways because she can.

With power and purse Pelosi has no needs other than to sustain that as long as she can... and is....using it to manipulate that of her choosing. But I would bet money she has few friends...if any.

....Evidence of that was when she couldn't stand up on her own and was struggling (when they all bent the knee)....she had to reach out far to her assistant while all those around her simply watched.

Having worked for years with skin, you likely wouldn't recognize Pelosi as her face work has been extensive....and often.

The band-aid on her nose is probably to prevent collapse. As too much narrowing of the nose openings this can happen. It's interesting that as we age our ears and nose do not stop growing...and why nose jobs are often done by people in view of the public....
