Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said the Senate must honor Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburgs wish to be replaced after a new president is elected, despite demanding the Senate to do its job by holding confirmation hearings and voting on former President Barack Obamas nominee, Merrick Garland, in 2016.
With voting already underway for the 2020 elections, Ruthies most fervent wish was for her replacement not to be named until a new president is installed. We must honor her wish, Warren said in a statement on Friday:

Ruthies most fervent wish was for her replacement not to be named until a new president is installed. So if we choose to re-"install" Trump, would he be "a new President"? Or are we supposed to wait until 2024 to "name her replacement"?
Help us out here Ruthie.
What an asinine statement there Pocahontas. Really, that’s the way we should run judicial appointments, by someone’s wish. What an idiot. I’m sure Poca would have said that if Scalia had made the same statement on his death bed. But, Scalia had more character and would not have done that since he was not as arrogant as RBG. The left is trying to make RBG into a diety but she was really just a political Justice who didn’t respect our Constitution — like most democrats
They said “install” the President because that’s what they plan to do with Harris...or whoever.
Children that go to school on short yellow buses
What wish?
There is only a claim of a wish.
There is greater documentation of RBG admonishing Senate to vote on a nominee shortly before an election.
We’ll stick with documentation of a Supreme Court Justice advocating adherence to law, over rumors she changed her mind about what she’s a longstanding expert on.
Hey, did RBG mail in her vote?
Shouldn’t that be disqualified for obvious reasons?
Lizzy needs to glue her forehead to a post.
We “must”?
I do not think that word means what you think it means.
So what about the voting? There was an election in 2016 that gave President Trump the constitutional right for a full four years to nominate people to fill openings in the USSC.
Ruthie? Doesn't that make you want to puke?
Lets let the 30 million babies vote who lost their lives during Ruthies three decades of doing nothing to prevent abortions..
Uh-oh..someone’s on the warpath
Take it to the Siouxpreme Court, princess

RGB was a lawyer and judge.
RGB understood she should put her dying wish(s) into a Codicil or new Will, drafted and signed by a Lawyer
You bad! ha ha ha
And when Trump wins again we hold the seat vacant for another 4 yrs.?
Even if we “honor her wish”, the “new president” is going to be Donald Trump, so it will amount to the same thing.
Those were not her dying words. Her dying words were “Epstein didn’t kill himself. ‘
Shut up and have another beer.
Indeed the democrat plan in action.
Right, like we must not lie about being an indian to get a high paying sinecure with an ivy league college.
Lizzies new name is Buffalo Wallow Woman. She needs to go back to collecting her buffalo chips for the coming fires and stop playing "Death Bed Pretend".
RBG stated that the President can nominate a SCJ in the final year of his term at a time when she was not in extremis and loaded up with brain fogging pain killing drugs.
To RBG granddaughter...Even if you got Bubbie saying this on a cell phone or video recorder (easy to do in this age, why didn't you think of this?) or in a signed, witnessed, and notarized statement it is irrelevant by precedence constitutional law. She had no say when alive, she definitely has no say when dead. The Archangel over the United States has granted our prayers instead of Bubbie's anti-constitutanal "wish">
