What a decision: throw innocent police officers doing their job under the bus as sacrificial lambs, or deal with weapons-grade terrorism against which no effective action is allowed.
Why declare a state of emergency? Haven’t the protests been mostly peaceful so far?
If it’s possible, check IDs coming into town.
Keep the folks who don’t live there, outside the city.

The family already received about 12 million dollars and I think some police concessions surely they won’t be burning anything down.

No Knock raids should be illegal except in some pretty strong cases where certain conditions exist. If they actually announced or not I don’t know. But any criminal could yell “Police” before they kicked in someones door. And if they were wearing body cams and did not have them turned on while doing a no knock raid then that tells us a lot. Of course until we know all of those details then it is hard to know.
