I consider it a little disingenuous. We are rewarding them for coming here illegally. If we reward something, why are we surprised it is happening?
I think what you are saying is the very definition of "disingenuous". Thieves who break into your house are rewarded with free stuff. That doesn't make them blameless. I don't believe for a second that this concept is nearly as hard for you to understand as you're pretending.
