Murkowski makes me wish there had never been Alaska statehood in 1959.
Alaska ha no “sore-loser” law like TX has.
We need to get behind whoever her primary opponent is in 2022.

GOPee Senate is full of cowards. You’re watching two right now in Murkowski and Collins. Their is no reason for them to not vote for Trumps pick. A lot of Senator’s like to surrender immediately rather than make the right choice for their constituents. So two cowards waiting in the wings to make their grand surrender are Pierre Delecto who will claim religious conflict, and then there is Lamar Alexander who at this moment is trying to find out where to go to surrender. Cory Gardner has already lost his water and is running for the hills as we speak. There won’t be a tie to break. We will suffer another insulting defeat by the gutless wonders in the GOPee Senate.

Collins will lose her seat if she does not vote for the woman Trump will select, period. Her only hope to retain her seat is to support Trump and his pick 110%. And the guy with a binder full of woman had better support a woman and vote for her or his non support of women will be his legacy.

I would love to see that, in fact I'd like to hear her say something about it today and call her out on her inability to support the party that got her elected.

I don’t have the impression that Palin has the popularity she once had in Alaska. Murkowski’s very adept at turning on the free money spigots for Alaskans. It’s a myth that Alaskans are a state of rugged “by-your-own-bootstraps” individualists. Alaskans have told me politically its like an urban ghetto with mountains, cold & snow. Large groups of “give-me-free-money” types there.
There is certainly some truth to that.
Kind of like my experience selling to farmers years ago.
On the surface they put on this image of being the most conservative, patriotic, God-fearing Americans currently in existence.
But propose cutting their favorite government subsidy program, and Katy-bar-the-door. To this city kid the hypocrisy was stunning.
Nothing brings out the inner socialist in us all like threatening an easy money government money stream. That we are used to or worse now dependent on.
To some, decades. For others, it may be a couple of months; depends on the attitude.
Note that she did NOT say that she would vote against a nominee. She said she did not support having a vote for a nominee.
If she now votes in the confirmation vote, she will be voting on the nominee, something she says she opposes.
Her words require that she abstain from the vote.
