A local police department is seeing a trend of people stealing political yard signs. The Carlisle Police Department has heard from many people about campaign signs that have been vandalized or stolen.
Sgt. Dave Miller says it’s not just annoying — stealing personal property is a misdemeanor crime.
“There’s enough stress already on folks so we would encourage folks just to think about the idea that it’s ok to have differing views. We absolutely can not be trespassing on people’s property or damaging or taking property that belongs to them,” Miller said.
So far, Carlisle police say all the signs reported damaged or stolen support Republican candidates.
Gee, only Pub signs disappear. Funny that ......
Democrats can’t handle people thinking for themselves and coming to a different conclusion than what *they* deem correct!
People that do that have a serious mental problem and need to be medicated and perhaps institutionalized

Notice a lot of American flags going up. Think they’re actually a Trump sign alternative.
Trump signs out here only last a day or 2 here in the Peoples Republic of Maryland.

Carlisle is a battleground between liberal arts Dickinson College and the Army War College.
Same here in NY. Although most of upstate is pro Trump, any place with a population over 5K is pro rat.

We had a young girl knock on the door a few days ago. I figured she was a liberal and was hoping we could answer politely but still let her know how we felt about the Biden/Harris ticket & Democrats in general. Color me surprised when she turned out to be a Republican and very well-informed and enthusiastic.
At the end of the survey, she asked if we wanted some yard signs, and I told her we were sort of afraid to put them up, but maybe we’d give it a go. She said that she had heard this same thing from other people.
I mentioned that we were flying our flag as an alternative, and we have seen many more going up in the past few days (including on telephone poles and corners).
I agree that this might very well be an alternative to placing an actual Trump sign and having it stolen and possibly risking damage to cars or property.
Mostly local/state signs out. What few National are TRUMP.

Don’t know where in Maryland you are. I stopped at the Republican HQ in Harford County yesterday to pick up a sign for my neighbor.
They said they were so busy they could hardly keep them in stock.
Strange, driving around the area I would think Harris-Biden signs were being stolen, not Republican signs, since there are no Harris-Biden signs.

Had two of those young ladies show up at my house a couple weeks ago. I asked if they wanted me to vote for Joe Biden. Their eyes got as big as silver dollars. One was wearing a Trump t-shirt, so I knew where they probably stood. Their main purpose was to find out if I was voting by mail or in person. We had a good conversation.
Did my heart and soul good to talk to them.
There is a 3x5’ “Farmers for Trump” sign on the shoulder of a main road around here that has lasted for more than a week.
