A whole, fascinating world awaits you. I'm not talking especially about religion. Check out any good, non-Leftist history of Western civilization. Mortimer Adler, maybe? Or the book or video Civilisation by Sir Kenneth Clark from 1969.
(I'm not talking about the 2018 one, Civilizations, which has a different focus.)
And don't worry about whether you believe in "God, who joins His Sacrifice to ours." You just need to know what has made the West tick, or you won't understand the current civil war against America.
History has no spectators. If you're from the Americas, or Europe, or Asia, or Africa, or certainly from the Middle East, that idea and belief formed everything that came before you and resulted in you, or it formed your ancestors' main trade partners or adversaries.
Whether or not you assent to all that it implies, that understanding of God and man's purpose has shaped your world, and in many ways, your thoughts.
