Compare your picture with the one in post 16.
Something about your picture, and the picture in post 16 seems odd.
Yep..... there definitely is a difference. When you search there are lots of photos with the bandage over the right eye . I selected the one where he was not wearing a tie.
As I look it seems , the damage to his left eye was a separate incident. There is also a photo of the Senator with his right arm in a sling but no facial beating.
Somebody apparently really had it in for the sombitch
