If Trump is re-elected, why wait for the second inauguration?

as if an advertisement could stop the US Senate from doing its job!?
ha!

how silly can these commies get?

we look forward to PDJT nominating a well-qualified person who respects our constitutional republican system of government including our Bill of Rights

and we look forward to Senate Leader McConnell (who’s been rather good at processing judicial nominations) setting strict and reasonable time limits for the nomination to be approved by the Senate. No long drawn out BS circuses like what the evil evil Demo basturds did in smearing Kavanaugh!

Sounds like $10 mil that won’t go to support any Dem candidates for office.

We can afford one or two defections but FOUR? I don’t see it.

This thing is a done deal.

Let them waste their money. The Turtle has already stated there will be a Senate vote on President Trumps nominee to replace RGB. The only RINO senator to run to the press to say she will not vote for RGB’s replacement before the election is Murkowski. I expect Collins to join her.
Surprisingly, Romney has stated that rumors he will oppose are not accurate. If he does vote to confirm then the only other wild card is Alexander, a Never Trumper. But, Pence will break the tie if Alexander joins with Murkowski and if Collins joins her. Given this, Alexander may not choose to oppose in a futile effort.

Also Alexander is an old friend of McConnell. I dont think he will oppose. I think he votes for judges so not a problem.

Im optimistic, but he didn’t specifically say when they’d vote on the replacement.

we assume its sooner rather than later, but until its on the calendar, its not set.

This was already planned out before she died.....she’s been dying all year long.....so they were prepared for this and in fact likly kept her body alive past her departure date so they could bring it up to the election wire....they’ll eat up at least two weeks burying her and the media will be glad to assist.

"No confirmation til after Inauguration Day,"

What’s this? Progs advocating shutting the government down? For shame.

The time period from George Floyd’s death to his burial was around 2 weeks. I don’t know if Ginsburg’s families will try to stretch that long. I’m fairly confident that Trump will announce his nominee in one week or at most 2 weeks.

Perfect!

P*ss away your coffers trying to destroy the next SCOTUS selection. Elections matter. YOU LOST and you are going to LOSE again!

Deal with it.

Collins made a statement about the death & didn’t comment on replacement. I think she will vote to confirm. She’s in a very tough election.

Biden 2016:

“Every nominee, including Justice Kennedy in an election year, got an up-and-down vote. Not much of the time. Not most of the time, every single solitary time. To now hear all this talk about the Biden rule, it's frankly ridiculous. There is no Biden rule, it doesn't exist.”

I think their sloganeering about no confirmation vote till after Inauguration Day, is an unspoken hope that Biden will be the president who chooses the next Supreme Court justice.

if Trump is re-elected, there would be no need to put it off based on the reasoning that we want to see who gets elected president.
