He’ll probably be fine if Trump nominated a liberal for the court.

I find this astounding... he will actually confirm and not play games?

Is Romney up for re-election? That could explain a lot.

Romney I actually voted for you.
I think Trump is EXACTLY what America needed.
Exactly.
Stop being such a bonehead.

I’m sure there’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. Romney is all about ‘looking the part’ so if the nom passes whatever rando tests he has, he falls in line? We shall see.
To: RandFan
He’d vote for himself if he was nominated.

The GOP should ram this through the Senate the same way the Democrats treated the impeachment debacle in the House. 48 hours, only GOP witnesses, and gold SCOTUS Confirmation pens for all.
Make a very public spectacle of it, too.

Romney is a unreliable slimeball. Until he actually votes to confirm I don’t believe or trust him. He is an empty suit.

He’s probably smart enough to know that his political future is FINISHED if he goes against Trump’s pick...it’s not a hard thing to understand, even for him.
It’s also worth noting that Romney has been good on judges - and as far as I’m concerned, if we control the courts, the Left CANNOT enslave the country, since the CONSTITUTION will be preserved.

Who else but Trump could handle a SCOTUS nomination/confirmation? Ha! Tailor made for this guy.
