The election then becomes a referendum on both Trump, and an impeccable Supreme Court Justice, vs. the lunatic Left.

That is cogent thinking! I wonder if nomination of a woman would have a similar affect. There is at least one woman on his short list, but is there a Hispanic person on his list?
