Grosskreutz was among three people shot on the third night of protests after Kenosha police shot a Black man, Jacob Blake, seven times in the back.
The two other victims of the Aug. 25 triple shooting, Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, did not survive.
The shooter, Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, of Antioch, Ill, considered himself a citizen soldier. That evening, armed with an AR-15, he told several people he had traveled to Kenosha to help protect life and property. Rittenhouse has been charged with five felonies including first-degree intentional homicide. His lead attorney, John M. Pierce of the law firm Pierce Bainbridge, plans to argue self-defense.
Because of the pending criminal charges against Rittenhouse, Grosskreutz's attorney, Kimberly Motley, has advised him not to discuss what happened the moments immediately before he was shot. On videos, Rittenhouse can be seen falling as he is chased down Sheridan Drive. Grosskreutz approaches, comes to a stop after Rittenhouse shoots Huber, then takes a few more steps before being shot in the arm at close range.
Grosskreutz sees the demonstrations against police brutality as a first step toward ending inequality and bringing about the ideal of justice for all.
"I want to be there and help amplify my brothers' and sisters' voices," he told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Thursday.

He deserved to get his head blown apart by that round. Why would you chase someone who was fleeing like that unless you were a cop? These marxists need to be treated as the animals that they are.

Victims? It looks like they were the attackers.
He tried to shoot Kyle but Kyle shot first.
He has said he regrets not killing Kyle.
To quote the Butthole Surfers....

There is about as much basis for that characterization, as me calling myself “Supermodel” or “Prophet”.
Just throw it out there.
And had a gun for his “personal protection”, which goes out the window when you CHASE AFTER a person you think might be dangerous, and then pull out your gun when the person is not confronting you.
There is nothing I can find in Wisconsin law that allows armed citizens to chase after a fleeing suspect and attempt to disarm them. That is the kind of “vigilante justice” that is strongly discouraged.
They “claim” that the second two victims were just “trying to disarm Kyle before he shot anybody else”. But in fact, there is no evidence that Kyle was any threat to others at the time. Kyle was running toward police, with his weapon pointed down. Even after he was struck in the back of the head, he continued to run away.
When he tripped, he was sitting there. One man kicked him and ran away and was not shot. Another man approached, and when Kyle brought up his weapon, the guy put up his hands, and Kyle did not shoot, and let the guy walk away.
It was only when Huber hit him with a skateboard and tried to grab his weapon that Huber was shot and killed.
And when Gaige pretended to put up his hands, Kyle did not shoot him either. He didn’t shoot until the guy started running at him again and was starting to point a gun at Kyle.
doesnt matter if he was legally armed or not...you cant draw a weapon and go chasing after people...hes not the police....he should be charged for felonious assault.

“Medic” who was a convicted felon illegally possessing a handgun and was part of a violent mob chasing and attacking Rittenhouse. We all saw the video.
Naturally she leaves out the minor detail of Grosskreutz pointing a pistol at KR. These journos are as predictable as clockwork.
