Beijing Cautions ‘Stupid’ Australia: End ‘Uncivilized, Rude’ Challenges to China’s Diplomats

An increasingly frustrated China lashed out at what it called “stupid” Australia on Wednesday, using an editorial in a Communist Party mouthpiece to demand an end to Canberra’s “smears” against Chinese journalists, diplomats and academics.

The editorial in the Global Times said recent moves against some Chinese diplomats in Australia were “following the strategic steps of the U.S.” and China is entirely blameless of any and all charges against it. The editorial said:

Australia has played a dangerous game with China for years.

When trade with China was choked off, Australia took Chinese goods and relabeled them “Made in Australia” primarily to export to the US and Canada.

To do so, Australia had and open door policy for Chinese business, easy visas, no vetting, stay as long as you want, sell whatever you want to whomever.

All Chinese businessmen report to China’s intel agencies, reporting on anything they are asked for.

Much as I love Australians (their government, not so much) they need to watch out when effing with the Chinese. Otherwise, like YouTuber OzzyMan says, they may get a all-expense paid ticket to “Destination F*cked”.
