I know what you mean, but if those two men were there, I’d
venture there was something else going on. These two
wouldn’t frequent the type of scene you’re describing.
They’d be a pretty easy targets for that crowd.
After thinking about it (a result of your reply), I suspect you are correct.
Even people in high places use drugs and around here almost every “mysterious” crime has dope as a factor.
That would also explain the cops and the victims’ organization immediately dismissing politics as the cause.
