This week’s Liberal Media Scream features the essence of the new media.
Once obsessed with the five “W's” and “H” — who, what, where, when, why, and how — much of the media's political coverage has turned into agenda-making and shaming.
But up against some politicians, notably President Trump, some reporters fret it doesn’t work.
(embed video not shown) On Sunday’s Meet The Press, moderator Chuck Todd said that Trump doesn’t “have shame” when the press call out his misstatements.
On the show, guest Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of the Atlantic, rued how the media have not figured out how to counter Trump’s supposed deliberate policy of misstatements.
Todd then said: “The only way to understand this is to realize he doesn’t have shame about it. And when we lose our ability to shame a politician, we lose a lot of our power. That’s for sure.”

“Todd revealed the reason behind the press corps’ underlying anger at President Trump. They are frustrated that he has figured out how to neuter their influence. They just can’t stand how so many in the public ignore them when they see themselves as the arbiter of truth.”

Enemediots "Lost their power", said it all.
The Ministry of Propaganda is failing at their mission to propagandize the populace.
You’ve lost your power Chuckie Poo because enough people have noticed that all you do is gas light us constantly.
I wish, if the media truly lost it’s power the Democrats would be lucky to get only 25% of the vote.
Everyone recognizes this, even that nasty Asian gal from CBS, Weiju Jiang said exactly the same thing on the record when Trump moved away from the pressers, she said she wants to shame him and he took that away from her.
By “misstatements”, I’m assuming F. Chuck and the rest of the enemedia are talking about sentences made that differ from their evil, vile, and demented political views.
It shouldn’t be abut power. It should be about truth and facts.
The media has lost any sense of credibility they once enjoyed. Its totally gone now.
Unless a democrat.
Then we all fall in line.

Maybe the Trumpsters will get Todd’s statement into a campaign commercial. Maybe Trump will get it into his rallies. Maybe he’ll show it on the jumbo screen.
The Press has not lost its “power”, it has lost its credibility. Without which the MSM is a joke. Laugh, ha, ha.
The saddest part of all of this is the press is the oversight of the political process for the American people. The minute they decided to take sides, their message was no longer credible.
It never dawns on them WHY they lost their power. They are Leftist political activists with cameras. They sought to shape events rather than merely report them. Everybody can see it which is why very few aside from the hard Left trusts them.
