DOHA, Qatar — U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told Breitbart News exclusively — after meetings between Afghan government officials and Taliban leaders as part of the beginning of intra-Afghan peace negotiations — that the process is moving along on pace for a full withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Afghanistan by the spring of 2021.

“I do,” Pompeo said when asked if the process is moving on pace with a Feb. 29 agreement between the United States and Taliban leadership that laid out the framework for the United States to reduce the troop count to zero by April or May of next year.

Pompeo told Breitbart News that the process for a full withdrawal of all U.S. forces by the spring of next year requires three main conditions of the Afghan government and Taliban leaders.

To be followed shortly by insurgents pouring into the capital while helicopters take off from the roof of the US embassy. Just like Vietnam.

And it’s 100% the fault of George W. Bush. Obama and Trump are just bit players. Just as Nixon and Ford were bit players in the Vietnam debacle.

Somewhere Woodrow Wilson and LBJ are smiling. Because they are no longer the worst US foreign-policy presidents. George W. Bush has that title all to himself.

Working for the DoD Psyops Division can be so frustrating when a President doesn’t buy their BS.

The Heroin producers are counting down the days as well.

They are saying how the presence of Western troops had really cut into their business.

Maybe as part of the 'Peace Treaty' is that the gangs can go back to the heroin business as long as the Deep State now get a cut of the profits.

If they conveniently forget and miss a payment, we'll send over the Predators/Ravens killer drones to remind you that you need to make you monthly Protection payments.

Well, as ridiculous as Bush’s ME policies were, the number of US war dead there is still vastly outstripped by Vietnam and WWI. So Bush is still 3rd rate in that regard.

Wonder if the troops are being replaced by contracted security advisers.

True. But W’s failures will help bring about the end of Western civilization. By invading Iraq he destabilized Syria. And that set in motion the mass Islamic migration into Europe. Plus W set the tone for the world: “Islam is peace”. No need to push back against Islam. They are just a bunch of peaceful guys.

At least LBJ never said “Ho Chi Minh is peace”. And Woodrow Wilson never said “German imperialism is peace”.

I suppose W is an okay guy personally. Maybe he’d make a good neighbor. But I sure do hate him politically.

Hopefully, if Trump can withdraw all our troops, those reprobates will just go back to killing each other. They won’t have the Great Satan as a rallying cry.

If this leads to our abandonment of that $1B/yr Embassy and campus in Kabul, who cares? Just bomb from above as needed.
