South Dakotas attorney general, Jason Ravnsborg, was involved in a car crash that left one person dead on Saturday night, Gov. Kristi Noem said on Sunday evening, adding that the authorities were investigating the crash.
Last night at about 10:30 p.m. in Hyde County, the attorney general was involved in a crash while driving on U.S. Highway 14 just west of Highmore, Ms. Noem said in a brief news conference. There was a fatality, and law enforcement is working on identifying the deceased and notifying the family.

It happens. What happened, exactly, with the A.G. In this case remains to be seen. The press is lazy and the press lies so it may take some time to find out.

What I don’t get:
1. If he thought he hit a deer, why call 911 hours later?
2. Six speeding tickets between 2014 and 2018? That’s more than I’ve had my entire life
3. Do you really not know the difference between hitting a human and a deer?
If I remember correctly Coach Boeheim didn’t even miss coaching a game after he killed that man. I remember being shocked he was back at work for the next game a couple days later as though everything was normal—so what, I killed a man. He could easily have missed a couple games just for appearance sake. Also shocking, no one in the media said a word about it.
The investigation revealed he was speeding when he struck the man. He said he saw the car. Why didn’t he slow down and, if he slowed down, he must have been really speeding prior to the crash.
Sounded like special treatment to me.
Wise to carry something highly reflective and pull over as far as you possibly can in the event of a breakdown. It is also wise to keep it a modest 75 mph or so.
3 years ago I killed 2 here in PA.
The deer I actually hit [really it ran into me] came from the left.
Those signs about deer coming from the right had it totally wrong.
Did the deer have insurance?
Was the deer cited by the police for disobeying a traffic control sign?
When SNL was funny.
Holy carp! There's maybe a thousand reasons why someone would be "out that night".
I've lived in S. Dakota. Not much else to do.
Deer I hope.
>>>3. Do you really not know the difference between hitting a human and a deer?<<<
Since I have never hit either, my answer is No.
