Thank you for posting that, but good luck getting any of this lot to understand it—it’s like teaching calculus to goats.

Since Holcomb mandated Masks in Indiana on August 27th, his lead has dropped 14 points and is falling lock a rock./p>

Too bad the governor of Texas wasn't up for reelection this year. Maybe he'd have had to pretend to be an actual conservative, instead of the RINO he really is.

Since medical professional working at their trade have worn masks for decades, there is a reason. The masks protect the patient and the medic

No actual medical professional wears the same mask all day long, nor do they ever reuse them. Also, it protects against bacterial infection, not viral.

The current mask mandates and guidelines are idiotic, and are creating portable bacterial labs.

Every European country that adopted universal masking experienced a prompt and sharp decline in new SARS CoV 2 infections.

Interesting. Do you have a link for this?

I dislike the masks but to me it’s not hard to believe that they may have some benefit—probably not huge but also not nothing—especially in crowded situations.

There was a multination study that published about a month ago proving that they worked. It was posted on FR, so it should show up in a search.

Thank you, Jesus; for your free gift, which allows me to access the spirit of faith instead of fear.

“Thank you, Jesus; for your free gift, which allows me to access the spirit of faith instead of fear.”

Yes. From the minute this travesty began in February I never felt fear once. Anger ... oh yes!!!

It does not matter.

Reality no longer matters.

Even here on FR it is all about FE-E-E-E-E-E-LINGS! And people FEEL better when they see other people wearing a training burqua. And they FEEL like a better person, so virtuous and full of righteousness when they put it on!

What can reality offer that is better then that?

So wear your germ infested virtue signaling security blanket.

But poke me and I will bite. I have run out of patience with you and your hysterics.

They never wore masks for viruses.

They wear masks to prevent the spread of bacteria.

Which is an entirely different thing.

You might as well say medical professionals have worn scrubs and uniforms for decades and so that will stop viruses.

What to doctors and nurses do when they enter a patient's room with varicella (chicken pox), rubeola (measles), or influenza?

Anger ... oh yes!!!

Anger? A bit now and then. With me; more frustration and disappointment with the stupidity of the population at large. Dumb as a damn rock.

Well, they do not put on masks for either chicken pox or measles. Of course, it is really uncommon for anyone to end up in the hospital for either of those. For that to happen they would have to have something else seriously wrong with them.

For flu they might on the off chance that they might spread a bacterial infection to the patient who is already weakened. And since they are already in the hospital it is officially serious.

For a visit to the doctors office they do not put on masks. Not even when the far more dangerous H1N1 was making it's rounds.

But you go ahead and put on your submission signal. It make you FEEL like you are doing something and that is all that matters. It is like one big participation trophy that you can wear for all to see.

Why don't you wear scrubs, a lab coat and a stethoscope too?

That way you can show how much you really care.

Well, I wear the scrubs and a stethoscope every day.

And every varicella, rubeola, and influenza patient in the United States is cared for in an isolation room, and every worker who enters that room wears a mask.

Other than a hazmat or space suit, no mask people are wearing can stop a virus that is only .003 microns.
