She is absolutely right about so many things. If we had millions of her in the black community,America would be so much better.
More from the link:
I started on the left, although I was not politically active, she recalled. I believed in all of the indoctrination. I believed, just four short years ago, that Republicans were racist, that conservatives were racists, and that being a Black person and being a woman disadvantaged me in life. And Im a pretty smart person. These were things that I learned actively.
It wasnt because I wanted to be anti-American, Owens added. It wasnt because I wanted to believe these things. It was because it was taught to me via the public school system.
Owens, the author of the recent book Blackout: How Black America Can Make Its Second Escape from the Democratic Plantation went on to warn her fellow conservatives that they have lost the education battle with the left.
I was saying this in the 1990s. Nobody listened. That doesnt apply to OUR schools here in (insert your town) our teachers are Christians, theyd never teach our kids that!
Public schools are, and have been, child abuse. If you have a child in a public school you are abusing you child.
You can disagree but you are wrong.
I hope this woman runs for President someday. Almost any President in my memory could have said a variant of that in any given setting, but hearing her say it, in the context is meaningful.
Just wow.
That has been my theme for many years. We have several generations now of public school graduates who know no history, don’t read well, have no Civics background, no geography. They are infinitely malleable and will accept whatever the system tells them as they have nothing to measure it against. The republic cannot survive this. We would have to have a long succession of Donald Trumps and we would have to totally remake the education system which is impossible as there is no seed corn left to plant another crop.
Replay on now!
Watch this year. No we may not get 30% of the black votes but Trump will get a record amount. Upwardly mobile melanin-rich Americans are finding little in common with the poor communities in which they or their parents escaped. I like CO, she is a positive voice in the wilderness of even Conservative nihilistic predictions of doom.
