As violence fluctuated this summer in Baltimore, the recent week in September left at least 45 people shot throughout the city 12 of them dead since last Sunday, according to Baltimore police data.
Baltimore police confirmed on Sunday that from Sept. 6 to Sept. 13, 33 people were injured in shootings and 12 others were killed. But the week had already started off rough, coming off of a violent Labor Day weekend after 12 people had been shot, two others being killed and one person who was fatally stabbed. The latest shooting occurred overnight, around 12:24 a.m. in 700 block of N. Montford Avenue, where a 20-year-old was struck in the back.
On Friday, the hearts of local elected officials and community members of the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello neighborhood were shattered following the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy in their community just about 15 minutes before noon.

Blacks dont even value black lives why should anyone else..they kill each other on a regular basis meanwhile screaming that they need to get rid of the police
Well they seem to be much better shots than their counterparts in Chicago.
Baltimore demographics - 64% black, 30% white.
Baltimore mayor and police chief...
Some blacks have got to start asking where the hell all of that money BLM is raking in is going, because it sure isnt going to the victims of these shooters.
Meanwhile Governor Lockdown Larry Hogan the masked wonder was at the Ravens game watching overpaid boy-sport athletes take a knee to this country...
So instead of the usual 2 or 3 over the air channels people received, they started to be flooded with raunchy shows. Low IQ people, black and white, started to ape what they saw. Gangs, drug dealing, and pimps were glorified.
Simultaneously jobs started to trickle overseas. At one time Baltimore was a major manufacturing city. London Fog, the iconic maker of raincoats, employed over 25,000 people. Even unskilled people could make a good living working in the thousands of warehouses. But bit by bit manufacturing was offshored, jobs dried up and disappeared.
Black people are to blame for their own actions. But the globalists like the Bush crime family who destroyed our manufacturing and sent it overseas are probably the ultimate culprit. They destroyed prospects for the black community. Add in rogue CIA operatives flying in cocaine to remote Arkansas airstrips controlled by the Clintons, well you know the story …
So, how many of these deaths were done by ‘Racist Cops’?
None? Hmmm
How many in the last year were done by ‘Racist Cops”? Again, None? Hmmm=-
Where’s all the racism in law enforcement?- looks like the near majority are black on black violence- NOT by the fictional ‘Racist Police Force’
Maybe we have this bassackwards. Perhaps we should be celebrating rather than mourning. Yes, I feel for the families of the innocents being slaughtered, but not all of the 45 shot and 12 murdered were innocents. We ought to be celebrating the thugs shot and murdered.
Population control.
12 killed and another 22 wounded in a week are truly horrific numbers. I follow Heyjackass.com which tracks the stats for Chicago. Baltimore has just under 600K residents right now. Chicago has just over 2700K residents, so it is 4.5 times larger. If you extrapolate out those numbers Chicago would have to have 54 dead and 148 shot and wounded in a week.
Hey, they are beating Chicago!
Rah, rah rah. Sis boom bah. Three cheers for the Baltimore team.
I truly wish that our President would declare BLM a Domestic Terrorist group ....
Me too. Should have been done months ago when during that Berkeley riot, a professor cold cocked a bystander with a heavy bike lock.
The Baltimore PD is severely understaffed. And no new officers coming through training. Who would want the job when you have a city admin that wants to hang you. And God help you if you shoot a black man, Even
If hes coming at you with a hatchet and a shotgun. So is it any wonder crime in general and shootings in particular are soaring?!
That is the question which no one wants to address or answer.
Nobody talks about the societal cost of the injured. The dead don’t need extended hospitalization, long term care, motorized wheelchairs, etc. etc.
And I’m just guessing here, but none or few of these victims have private health insurance to pay for it.
Even presidents can't do it alone. They had help from Congress, all the states and their legislature, the local, state, national, international media and all the corresponding leaders. Blaming just one person, Bush, for this is incorrect, as I see it. It's almost naive.
It seems to me that the "blame" is from an enormous and diverse number of events.
Hindsight isn't always correct as IT is tainted by too many people and events, well-meaning may those leaders may have been.
Eventually NO ONE will care...not even FReepers.
How about this question.
Where are the gang bangers getting their ammo?
All my local stores are out of ammo and magazines.
