The real issue is not whether some REAL donors are unemployed... surely there are. The real problem is the near certainty that many of these donations come from fictional people to launder the real source of the funds. For such laundry donations made with made up names its easier to simply make up a name each individual donation and not also ADDITIONALLY make up or assign an employer name for that person. Making up or assigning an employer name would also make it easier to expose that donations information as phony (e.g., Hey, we dont have an employee named John Doe.). Remember, these laundering donations will be done by the tens of thousands in small (i.e., less than $200) amounts to convey the millions of dollars of illegal donations (e.g., Chicoms, Soros).
