Kohl’s Department Stores, which operates Jersey Shore-based box stores has announced a new line of Black Lives Matter and equality based t-shirts that will be available for purchase in select Kohls department stores. The shirts will be available on September 21st.
“We’ve partnered with Cream City Print Lounge, a Milwaukee-area Black-owned business, to create a line of tees for the whole family to support racial equality,” Kohl’s said. “Mark your calendars for 9/21 to shop the line in select stores and at Kohls.com. With this launch, Kohl’s is proud to donate $100,000 to the The National Urban League, which strengthens economic empowerment, equity and civil rights.

I went over to unsubscribe from the mailing list and saw $10 graphic tees (lounging shirt of choice for my husband). Oh well.

Those pics are posted on the Cream City Print Lounge facebook page, not at the Kohls site, and they show the interior of the Cream City store. Feel free to prove otherwise.
I doubt Kohl’s will be selling shirts as edgy as the ones being sold at Cream City. Probably no BLM logos per the Kohls spokesperson, and I’ll bet no black power/socialists fists. These are too edgy and risky for Kohls. Instead they’ll sell a line of “BLM inspired” shirts with messages and images that are somewhat watered down. Or at least that’s my guess.
I am in a dilemma. I need to get a dress and some shoes for a wedding coming up. I have the dress in my cart for Kohls. Was waiting for the % off and free shipping. Not sure I can find it elsewhere but going to look. But, if I buy them from Kohls, it will be my last purchase.
His shirt lists in the following order
black men
black Women
black boys
black girls
black queer
black trans
so is this the pecking order? of BLM? men before women, boys before girls, queer before trans ??

Cathy is no longer around. I can see where he would say that. Of course we all have a sense of shame, but only about the past. We were getting beyond that. It was getting better everyday. The 0dumbo and his ‘take America down cohorts appeared. Now we’re back to whatever the left wants it to be.
Well you’re right. They did use the fist. But no BLM logo, and I would guess the slogans are less edgy than the ones shown in the Cream City store.
