As said before when this all started...Cuomo annointed himself the tri-state and eastern border Czar.... and those states Governors were happy to go along with whatever he determined.
As a result everyone suffered..and still do from the decisions made early on and throughout.

Cuomo was never that great.
Early on Cuomo reacted to de Blasio’s idea for closing down New York City with derision saying, “It was dangerous and served only to scare people.”....that “sheltering in place sounded like it was a response to a nuclear apocalypse.”
Moreover, Cuomo said, he alone had the power to order such a measure.
When de Blasio finally decided to close the city’s schools, it was Cuomo who rushed to make the public announcement, claiming it as his decision.
“No city in the state can quarantine itself without state approval,” Cuomo said of de Blasio’s call for a shelter-in-place order. “I have no plan whatsoever to quarantine any city.”
It is also possible that most all of the deaths attributed to COVID-19 were caused by another pathogen entirely and that COVID-19 is not nearly as deadly as hyped.
It is a well accepted in epidemiology that the faster a virus spreads in a population the less deadly it is.

I’m glad they’re covering this, because many liberals wouldn’t believe it otherwise.
I think this was Trump's design all along. Knowing that Democrats like Cuomo and De Blasio would wallow in dictatorial powers, he gave them enough rope to hang themselves with. Of course in NY, I doubt there will be enough people who realize this and "take the red pill" to really matter.

Cuomo gave them legal immunity.
Cuomo has killed more people than Bin Laden did on 9/11.
It’s the MSM who should be held accountable for this. The administration did everything to make sure NY got what they needed to minimize the damage. Trump, a Lifelong NYer, went the extra mile. Cuomo and DeBlahblah spit on Trump.
And now they blame him. The lefties still haven’t figured it out that the last step in a revolution is to try and then hang those that are part of the inner circle. They also haven’t realized that when a revolution fails, there is a very high price to pay.
Because he is a chump.
And most of the deaths in the US are in the five states that forced nursing homes to accept COVID patients.
The Comfort was for non-WuFlu hospital patients.
Some where along the way, one of Cuomo’s excuses for the nursing home mandate was “to free up hospital beds” for the claimed WuFlu deluge.
