When you say sign you mean that big flashing arrow you can see for miles or those big signs that say road lane closed ahead???
Usually when the name is suppressed I feel like his name will start with the most common boy name given in England.
I actually had a semi hit me when traffic came to a stand still just outside Pasadena, CA. I was driving a Sequoia w/tow dolly. As I usually do when I come to a sudden stop on the freeway, I looked in the rear view mirror. Barreling at me was a semi towing a long flatbed trailer. My first thought was, “he’s not going to stop”. I had about 2 seconds to turn my truck towards the shoulder, which was a 50 foot embankment next to an overcarriage. I figured if he hit me hard I would squirt off the freeway and down the embankment. Miraculously, he skidded into me, hit the towdolly which lurched me into the white corolla in front of me, his right steering tire went up and over the left tire of the dolly, and he came to a stop. It must have been that Hail Mary I managed to blurt out.
Stereotypical California, the hispanic lady in the corolla in front of me (who did not speak English) looked at her back bumper, which left a white spot on my front bumper, waved at me that she was good, and sped away. The hispanic truck driver who could barely speak English gave me proof of insurance that was three years out of date, and then said he would pay me cash. He never paid me to fix the tow dolly, which belonged to the USAF. I ended up having to fix it myself.
These days, with what’s going on in our country, we all might as well be David Mann.
I agree. Most truckers, in my view, behave extremely well, except for the high-ballers trying to make time due to the new goobermint e-log regulations.
On the other hand, four-wheelers can be all over the damned map. Not good.
And children's books at that. That was a thing when I was a young child: the 45rpm record helped you to read along in the book.
The Modern Semis with Automatic Emergency Braking!

Worthy of watching!
Should be on ALL vehicles!!!
The best part, is the Parking Brake stays on, until Driver responds!
Same thig happened in South Orange County CA years ago.
A Semi slammed into stopped Cars and an entire Family in a Minivan were killed.
It was certainly better than the dreck Spielberg has been putting out lately.
I highly doubt that. No way a trucker knowing the risks he poses would do that. I must say that I find 99.99% of truckers on the road to be responsible. Frankly, find it remarkable.
I’m thinking heart attack, fell asleep, ...
But, we’ll see. Fortunately, incidents like this are very infrequent. Think of all the trucks on the roads and how few of these accidents happen?
Other countries have the same type of drivers, Semis and
4 Wheelers,. I sometimes enjoy following this Driver. Mainly for his demeanor and his Assistant(;^}). Notice his written comments.

Have fun/enjoy.
Nice. Thanks.
Same here.
YEA, that is it..
Some don’t realize it is a SIGN of something to come NOT an omen.
Kind of like the fool that waits then pulls right out in front of you BUT you really can’t say anything because you know you had your vehicle sprayed invisible.
Like passing a texter and wanting to blow the horn to ‘wake’ them up but don’t because you just know that anyone dumb enough to do that will either pull right into you or another vehicle or slam on the brakes because you ‘startled’ them.
I-81is a death trap.
Here in the Syracuse/Cortland corridor of NYS people are getting killed on it regularly.
We are dealing with foreign drivers who have minimal education, training and experience. Watched them take CDL tests here. With interpreters who feed them answers.
Unnerving.
Too bad they didn't happen at the same time and place. The overstuffed pigs would have been easy to round up and they would have eaten the all candy bars before they could catch fire.
Might have even been able to work out some fresh barb-au-que from that wreck.
I love in south florida, the state of perpetual road construction, and if you decide to go up the right lane, and you know it’s closed, I will not let you back in! These people drive the same route to work everyday and they know that lane ends in a thousand feet, however, everyday the pull the same crap thereby creating the traffic the are trying to defeat.
Yeah, it's a movie, but THIS SCENE was a pretty impressive smash up.
