The press has done Joe Biden’s campaign no favors.
For much of the campaign, Biden has managed to avoid a thorough interrogation from hostile journalists. And when Biden has allowed himself to be questioned, what he’s subjected to is less a grilling and more a light braising.
“I wonder if you worry that this kind of language that comes from the president of the United States can deter some Americans who are tuning into him to not wear masks,” one reporter asked Biden at a recent (and rare) press conference. Highlighting Trump’s rhetoric, another reporter probed along the same lines: “What does it tell you about President Trump’s soul and the life he leads?” Summoning all the passions of the press corps, a third journalist pondered, “Why isn’t Joe Biden angrier about all of this?”
Illuminating stuff.
If only the Democratic nominee could have remained cosseted in friendly media’s comforting embrace until November, but there are voters beyond the base to reach. And as the Biden campaign has begun to emerge from its cocoon and engage with more adversarial reporters, the results suggest this campaign and its candidate are more flatfooted than their image-makers would have you believe.

...in previous posts this morning, and reading a couple of articles elsewhere, it just may be that Slow Joe won’t even debate President Trump....he may “not feel all that well” or “one of his close staffers has tested positive for COVID-19 and his campaign has decided not to let him debate....” etc etc etc......and as far as your other observation, I have relatives (unfortunately) who hate Trump so much that if Satan himself was the Dem nominee, they’d vote for him in a heartbeat....sad....very sad....
I have to laugh about this. There are not going to be any debates. Biden's handlers cannot afford the public to see how ravaged he is from dementia. Debates will be cancelled, probably at the last minute, to minimize the fallout and quickly get it out of the news cycle.
Watching Biden’s interview with Tapper is tough. He is so mentally gone. For him to beat DJT would require epic leftist turnout based on a fiery hatred of the POTUS. So much mitigates against that happening.
I hope that Trump has an answer for Biden’s lying @$$ television commercials.

Trump had a fabulous Republican convention, best ever from many locations. His campaign has been nearly flawless thus far, “winning, winning, winning,” as he likes to say. Still, I fear what the American people will do.
Do you mean the actual voters, or the political operatives, secretaries of state, and election officials?
If the voters, are you worried about GOP voter apathy and lack of turnout?
Kamala has been really lackluster on the campaign trail, but I suppose she is still widely popular in CA.
No one in their right minds would vote for this idiot, but 16 yr olds, illegals, ballot fraud....get the picture? We all know what’s coming and what will never stop.
