I started late this year, so I still have a ton of Tomato and pepper plants producing. The cucumbers are starting to thin out, but still producing at the moment, and I don’t think even a nuclear blast could kill green onions. LOL
Green onions are one of those bulb veggies that’ll keep reproducing as long as there’s soil and a few extra bulbs to let them spread. Same with potatoes. I got several 24” pots of mini yellow summer squash going; you’re supposed to pick them when they’re 2”-3” long, but so far, all they’ve done is flower. They’re meant for containers, but the only time I have any luck with gourd plants fruiting is when I plant them directly in the soil. Live and learn, I’ll just file this year away in the memory banks with all the rest and try a new tack next spring.
