Last I checked, the House has zero part in approving a treaty. The President signs a treaty and the Senate ratifies it.

Why in the H should the U.S. imperil a U.S.-U.K. trade deal, for the political views of queen Nancy? We should want a trade deal with the U.K. no matter what, and how the U.K. deals with the “Good Friday agreement” is THEIR business, not ours.
