We need a rebirth. Old, failed institutions must be swept away. Conservative DC think tanks that proclaim the goodness of constitutional government but wont denounce rule by emergency edict, state representatives that wont impeach out-of-control governors, and local news outlets that perpetuate panic and hysteria all deserve to feel the pain. They need to lose donors, voters, and customers. Everyday Americans must once again find within themselves the self-assertion necessary to preserve their rights and their way of life. We do not lack the requisite knowledge of history, law, or fact to argue our case. What we need now is the spirit of freedom fighters, rebels, and outlaws. The American Right no longer needs conservatives. It needs insurgents.
The first task for any new Insurgent Right would be to ensure that the federal bureaucratic, law enforcement, and executive powers do not fall totally into the hands of Biden and his masters. President Trump is now the last line of defense for everyday Americans against an onslaught of mandates, edicts, and decrees at the federal level that would transcend all state boundaries and make a recovery of stability and peace in the short term nearly impossible. 2016 was a stick in the eye of Americas elite class. That establishment is out for revenge. Those who wish to stop them must deny them the opportunity to inflict it. Trumps tenure at the helm keeps the Lefts cultural revolution at bay. It thwarts the liberal establishments attempts to seize interminable emergency powers at the national level, buying patriots four more years to prepare and regroup. Publicly predicting electoral doom and gloom, buying into opposing demoralization psyops, and publicly bad-mouthing Trump when he is surrounded by enemies does no good.

From the article:
This is tyranny.
A free country does not strip its citizens of the right to work by edict. A free country does not dehumanize its citizens with mask-wearing mandates. A free country does not suspend the right of citizens to travel freely within its borders.
More from the article:
This crisis has been a Great Revealing. It has shown with stunning finality the weakness and uselessness of the established Republican Party, even among many of those who fancy themselves constitutionalists and tea party conservatives. On the question of whether Americans have any rights the government is bound to respect, even in times of crisis, both parties have the same answer: no.
No thanks. That kind of power inevitably will be misused
The secret handshake of the dissident is the handshake.
A great article and hes right, we need to be more aggressive in reclaiming our liberties.
However, I didnt like his idea that corporations need to be broken up and taxed out of existence. This is a two-edged sword.
I do agree that their political influence needs to be controlled, and particularly the influence of the foundations (tax dodges) set up or controlled by them.
Media corporations are an entirely different matter: things such as FB and Twitter are either public utilities or they are private enterprises whose scope is limited and prior restraints are legitimate.
Public utilities would be things such as the phone system where you can say whatever you want - but naturally can then be found and held responsible for the consequences. The second would be more like FR or any other forum, where you can say what is permitted by the moderator in agreement with the policies of the sponsoring entities. This is something that has got to be decided.
I actually think that even some of the new social media doesnt know exactly what to do. Theyre all very left wing and ideological, of course, but they make their money by appearing as a neutral platform so that businesses, etc. will want to sell through them.
Hear! Hear..!!
This is tyranny. A free country does not strip its citizens of the right to work by edict. A free country does not dehumanize its citizens with mask-wearing mandates. A free country does not suspend the right of citizens to travel freely within its borders.
Great quote!
But I have a a question... maybe someone can answer it.
How much of this tyranny is actual law, and how much self-enforced?
The reason I ask, is because as I enter bars, restaurants, stores and offices here in Southeastern PA, nobody seems too sure.
Its all anyone is talking about, and of course, opinions vary regarding whether the distancing and shutdowns were necessary or pointless - but that is not my question.
For the MANY who dont think anything ever should have been shutdown, or that mask wearing was necessary, opinions vary regarding whether we are doing this
A) out of respect for others fears
B) because its the law
C) because the private establishment requires it
D) because of vague rumors of enforcement
E) because it is patriotic or politically correct
Seriously, even the OWNERS admit to being confused about why they are following the guidelines, and to what extent. Some owners have heard stories about another establishment getting busted. Some say they want to attract all types of customers, so they try to strike a middle ground. Its a weird situation.
My worry is that if it is this unclear whether it is forced, semi-voluntary, or voluntary, then how do we even end it? If we dont know why we are doing it, how will we know when its time to stop?
Unless we get back to the original 1854 foundation principles of the Republican Party USA, we’ll continue being just another tool of the globalist plutocrats, kleptocrats and oligarchs. Educate yourself on who the first Republicans were and what they believed. I’m guessing 9/10 of Freepers do not know what “republicanism” actually is or how it was expressed throughout history. Then, just for fun, Google Teddy Roosevelt’s “Bull Moose Party” and tell me what you see.
We do not lack the requisite knowledge of history, law, or fact to argue our case.

The strong opposition to the natural born citizen clause among the right disputes that.
Went into Costco today. Got offered a mask by the entrance maskadero. I said that I had allergies. Maskadero said “allergies?” I said, yeah, I’m allergic to bullshit. And kept on walking.
John C Fremont comes to mind.
Allergies to bs, I love it!
