Sky News contributor Cory Bernardi says calls for Democratic candidate Joe Biden to avoid debating US President Donald Trump is a clear indication he has no idea what he's doing.
The 2020 United States presidential debates are set to take place from late September.
“The Democratic Party would be most concerned about his capacity to last an election campaign,” Mr Bernardi told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“It’s really going to come to the fore when he’s expected to debate President Donald Trump.
“You’ve got people like Nancy Pelosi now saying that Joe Biden shouldn’t dignify Donald Trump by debating him, and I think that’s a very clear indication that Biden has no idea really what he’s doing.”

Everybody knows that when you vote for a Democrat Party “candidate” you are really just voting for the Democrat Party.
Well good for you - a lot of people do including the President himself and elections are won by reaching voters.
I think that there is a concerted effort here to lower the bar so low, that if Joe Biden doesn’t literally wet his pants during the debate, he will be called the winner. Personally, I don’t think he is going to do well at all, but he will be given a pre-scripted zinger that will be set up by a question from one of the moderators. Assuming he doesn’t step on his own line, THAT will be all you hear about.
Trump should have a short range jammer in his podium during the debate.
“What’s that Joe??? Cat got your earpiece?”
That’s exactly the plan of the Ministry of Propaganda.
I still think Joe’s dementia shines through.

His facial expression in every recent picture I have see is just "vacant". As in "not there" mentally.
Slow Joe, please dignify President Trump!
First and foremost I am a woman, with a heart and a mind, and it’s getting to the point where I feel sorrow for Joe Biden and what his Party and his FAMILY is doing to him. The most responsible person in all of this is Jill Biden. I would never put my husband out there for someone other’s gain so he could be mocked. He also is beginning to appear frustrated and angry. That is very typical of dementia and something very bad is going to happen. I think that’s why people tune in, frankly. He never says anything of substance. I have seen commercials that say he is going to lower health care costs and make sure everyone has healthcare. Not once have I heard someone ask the simple question.. WHAT IS YOUR PLAN? He is a parody of a politician. Just spouting off promises that he can never keep. It’s almost heartbreaking.
I’ll tell you something. Joe Biden has always been described as a “nice man.. a gentleman.” I had no reason to doubt it. Until this: Several years ago Mike Pence was under attack for speaking out against gay marriage. Everyone piled on... Joe Biden came out and said, “I think Mike Pence is a decent man, a good man.” He’s just wrong on this issue. THAT would be the normal thing to say. Well, they got to him and overnight he changed his song to “ANYONE WHO IS AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE IS NOT A DECENT PERSON.” That’s the moment I started to despise Joe Biden. Just another tool.. another puppet.
