The CDC doesn’t say.
But Americans are supposed to listen to the CDC as they claim masks are saving lives and children are in danger at school when they have a greater chance of drowning than dying from coronavirus.
When will this corrupt organization be audited? When will they be held to account for their destruction and lies? What they are getting away with is fraud. And they list it in their weekly results.

You realize that incident was removed from the count almost as soon as it was listed.
I don’t disagree that the “counting” process is stupid...but continually bringing that one case up is disingenuous.
I’ve said from the beginning that the “case count” and “death counts” on a day to day basis is just stupid. The reason is that the case counts are inaccurate—and so many cases do not result in any symptoms or long term disease. Counting deaths ends up with this crap—people getting counted as “died with.” And, at the same time, deaths because of COVID (cancers untreated, people not going to the hospital, etc) are NOT counted.
We need to just stop this counting madness. The ONLY count that matters is the bed count in your local ICU. When there is no “room” at the Inn, we should be concerned.
In my town, there are three hospitals—about 100 ICU beds. At this time, 6 of them have Covid patients. Non are on vents.
That is better than an average day in Nov-March.
