Scarborough: Trump 'Wanted to Sit by and Watch People Die'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 09/10/2020 8:52:03 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

Joe Scarborough opened today's Morning Joe with a grim, paternalistic, pursed-lip approach to the anti-Trump coronavirus spin coming out of the latest Bob Woodward book. That was in contrast to the sound-system-pegging screams he sometimes favors, which eventually led wife Mika Brzezinski to order him to take a two-week break from the show, presumably to rest his fragile psyche.

At one point, Scarborough said:

"Donald Trump says he didn't want Americans to panic. No, he just wanted to sit by and watch them die."

This is how the Left screws themselves. Trump isn’t wrong or wrong headed or just plain possessed of bad instincts. No. He WANTS TO WATCH PEOPLE DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe’s quite the success story. He bags Mika and gets a gig on MSNBC.

“They have created for themselves a fictitious image of Trump, and made themselves believe it.”

Exactly. And even if some of their semi-rational leaders don’t really believe the idiocy that comes out of their mouths, their slow-witted followers do.

This latest attack on President Trump is going NOWHERE! They should have stuck with the military thing a little bit longer. When you are just “making it up” so what if the truth comes out.

Beaker, do you know how many “ventilators” Trump produced? /s

You're right, Joe.

President Trump should have shut down the Democrat Super Tuesday primary in the first week of March because of COVID.

Joe Biden hardest hit.

The idiot has obviously never read the 10th amendment to the Constitution:

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Simplified: Trump cannot do anything for a virus or acts taken because of it in the states unless requested by the state except to declare an emergency to provide money for support through FEMA.

Also, until he is asked, he cannot support with national guard unless it is considered an insurrection. And as long as the states consider it a criminal act, Trump doesn’t play unless it threaten a federal reservation. He did offer here, and even offered to pay them which is not supposed to happen under title 32 orders, but almost no one asked. So trying to imply Trump was ineffective is pointing the finger in the wrong direction. Liberal playbook.

He says stupid things because he can’t get the response he wants, he can’t affect Trump. So he doubles down on stupidity thinking if he keeps it up — like 2+8=2, 12+13=2, 544+8=2, 222+2,387=2, etc. — he will eventually hit on the right one and get the response he wants. His stupidity doesn’t know how stupid it really is.

And the weird thing is he gets away with it... all the time.

He doesn’t believe that.

It does show what he thinks of his audience and it’s not kind.

TDS indeed.

Vs. helping them die by sending them to the nursing homes and denying the use of Trump pills?

As opposed to the 623,471 babies murdered in the womb last year in the USA. Joe just sat by and watched them die. Didn’t even say a word.
