Unless it’s a typo, there are fires in the area, no telling what is going on there. I have looked for another account of the story but so far this is it.
Justin Brian Taylor was arrested on 8/25/2020 on other charges, and released on 9/3/2020. Should be in prison, where he has been before.
Haven’t looked up the other two yet.
Not much desert around there, but plenty of forest. 40+ years ago I knew the family that owned the sawmill in Cave junction, and I have to think that the Illinois Valley people are now a kinder, gentler lot than then, or the three lowlifes would simply have vanished forever.
This is probably why only one got a beating:

So there would have been too many witnesses if the other two had an “accident”.
