Im honored that President Trump asked me to consider serving on the Supreme Court and Im grateful for his confidence. I will always heed the call of service to our nation.

The point, which the article’s author should have clarified, is that Republican USSC candidates uniformly have kept their thoughts on Roe v. Wade to themselves, and finally here is someone who is unafraid to be forthright.
That’ll make Nancy’s face melt since she is so gung ho with regard to killing babies.
Gateway Pundit is a disgusting cesspool of disgusting ads and pop ups.
Please DO NOT appoint a sitting Republican senator to the court. We need him where he is. Save him for later.
Yep, Jeff Sessions proved that.
I really wish OP’s would include what the “bombs” are in the OP. I’m not going to disable my ad blocker so I can look at their stupid blog.
First Social Security. A ponzi scheme from the beginning.
Roe v Wade removed millions of potential workers.
Open borders was the Democrats solution (with the added bonus they got the vote of the illegals).
Agree. Cheap trashy tricks.
That’s part of why I refuse to watch TV (along with traitors lying all day about Trump).
On Rose v. Wade he should know enough to act like Barr: “Possibly it might be a matter for someone at some potential date in the future, far or near, to consider that at some point or to set consideration aside, but I have no agenda for looking at the matter at the present time.”
Otherwise, what screeching feminist would allow Cotton within two miles of a hearing? Keep quiet.
Unless we get a miracle and pick up bunch if Senate seats he just killed his chance for confirmation. If was up today he would probably lose in the 56-44 range.
The bomb is that this was his way of saying thanks but no thanks, a way of saying USA needs me in the Senate and I probably couldn’t get confirmed anyway. So he offered the poison pill to be done with the issue.
I think what Cotton was really saying with that tweet was...
“I would love to serve on the Supreme Court, as long as it’s alongside a republican House and Senate.”
Because if Democrats have any control next year, they will not let that tweet slide.
Communist senators’ heads spinning 360 and barfing green slime.
Overturning Roe v. Wade has been a Republican party goal for a long time and is hardly a BOMB!!!. I wish that conservative journalism would get rid of their hyperbolic clickbait headlines. YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!

BOOM! BOMB! TICK-TOCK! ETC.
Following the lead of Hannity, Beck and other sensationalists. I remember when World NUT Daily used to be laughed at for this kind of tabloidistic writing; this blog pimp style.
Now GP wallows in it.
If he says its time for roe to go then he wont be confirmed or nominated. Of course I dont think hed be nominated anyway.
Doesn’t that assure he wouldn’t get approved?
“Overturning Roe v. Wade has been a Republican party goal for a long time”
Huh? It might be your goal, it might even be the goal of other Republican activists and the occasional elected official, and even stated by the Party apparatchiks. But it is certainly not the goal of the Party Establishment for two reasons. First, the megabuck donors who pay the Party’s bills want it available for their dalliances and they are embarrassed to be associated with us rubes who are pro-lifers. Second, as was cynically noted by one party establishment fundraiser, “Dead babies don’t vote.” They have had multitudes of opportunities to do something important about abortion and they will not because they accommodate infanticide harridans like Murcowski and Collins.
You hit the nail on the head.
My post was about the tone of the headline, not the issue of abortion. A Republican/Conservative politician declaring himself/herself pro-life doesn’t warrant such a flamboyant headline.
It’s the same thing when I would be on Youtube and I would see a video on the sidebar titled “Trey Gowdy asks a question, YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!.” I would click on the video and it would be 8 minutes of a mundane question followed by an equally mundane answer.
