I wouldn’t say hostile. Stiff-necked and uninclined to bend his views to suit Trump’s. Career Deep State bureaucrat who honestly puts forth his personal views regardless of how it plays with either party. I disagree with him about shutdowns (he favors, I oppose), but his unwillingness to lie for his (presumably Democrat) party in this instance is laudable. And Fauci’s sky-high approval rating means Woodward’s been exposed as a liar among anyone who’s not a far leftist.
