Obama said that there were 57 states and the media shrugged it off.
Biden seems to indicate that 9/11 2000 was the date when in fact it was 9/11 2001. Fairly minor mistake, in my opinion.
But he’s getting hammered. Interesting.

I despise Biden for a many reasons (abortion, framing General Flynn) and I despise the press for covering up his dementia, but I don;t think more than a few whackjobs are actually mad at him for forgetting something he obvioulsy used to know, and thought he still did.
It's not a minor mistake for someone who has held political office for 40 years, seen Presidents come and go, and was in Washington, D.C. that day. He should be able to recall who was President at the time, and that it happened slightly less than 8 months into Bush's administration. Biden is only 4 years old than me, and I remember it like it was yesterday.
It’s not as if he screwed up the date that the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
If you listen carefully to what Biden said, he didn’t actually finish the year. He said “two thou” and broke it off so he could say when 9/11 happened. I think he actually DID forget which year in the 2000’s that it happened. Again, he covers up his memory problem well.
People are right to hammer it every time, because there are tons of people from his own party who are actually beginning to that Joe’s not well.
They make a big deal out of Trump being the oldest person to be sworn in as POTUS when he was 70. They ignore that if Joe wins and manages to take the oath, that he would be at least 78 years old.
