How are things where you are? I hope you aren’t close to any of the fires ravaging CA right now.

Although the fires are a good distance away, we get a coating of wood ash over everything outside in the morning due to the prevailing winds. There is the faint smell of wood smoke in the air. Today, thanks to a combination of marine layer and smoke, it never cleared up or got as warm as was predicted.
