The positive is diverting dollars away from criminal hands.

But they’re not.

California cannabis sales reach record $348 million in July

Unlike many neighboring homes, it had neither a gate nor a “no trespassing” sign at the entrance.

Is that supposed to make it OK that they were killed? Probably white victims.

100% correct. Nobody goes to pot shops as it is cheaper on the street due to taxes and regulation. In the meantime the pot growers keep shooting each other up, no surprise...

For the most part, it’s the cartels that run the industry in Calif. Once pot was legalized, they just moved their operations north of the border. The border fence actually protects them from their competitors now. Riverside Co. sheriffs counted some 3000 illegal grows recently, if my memory serves me. They shut 10 down, 20 more spring up. Plant ‘nurseries’ are making a killing selling tunnel tents and other grow supplies. The plants are just window-dressing.

Like border patrol agents, the sheriffs are under constant threat by cartels. Their kids go to the same schools as the children of cartel members. Their wives go to doctors and dentist offices that employs wives and daughters of cartel members. Because California has no enforcment of rules on employing or schooling illegals.

This illegal activity is nurtured by the ‘liberals’ brilliant idea that only blacks and messcans should control the industry - as ‘reparations’ aka normalizing and legitimizing criminality of minorities. (The blacks will be the loser in that one, just like they lost Compton and most major cities to messicans). Americans, the legal ones, are outnumbered and outgunned by people who believe money is power, power is everything, and who have no concept of the sanctity of life. We seriously need the feds to start crawling all over SoCal and up Gavin Newsom’s butt because the status quo shows no end in sight.

It’s my understanding that anybody can grow a few plants for personal use, I really don’t understand why people would pay a premium price for something they can do for themselves.

Way back when (mid 70’s) I never made enough money to give a decent Christmas present to any of the people I knew, I grew pot and processed it into 2 pound blocks.
Gave each friend a block every Christmas (yes most of the people I knew back then smoked dope), I didn’t care for the stuff, mostly a whiskey and Scotch guy, still am.

The stuff is just a roadside weed, it doesn’t take much expertise to grow really good pot.

Start with good seeds, I think you can buy them online now. Used to get mine from friends who would buy a lid and then tell me the quality of the stuff.

Soil mixture should be half good dirt and half good well cured chicken shit. Plant seeds, water, and grow.
When the plants start to go to bloom start restricting the water for more resin production.

I wouldn’t even buy Scotch if I had a big enough area to malt and dry my own barley, yeah, I grow barley and fruit on my farm.

The dead and wounded were all Laotian, if I read the article correctly.

If so, then that says to me that Chinese organized crime is moving or has moved into the area.

Might be Chinese gang vs Chinese gang or Chinese vs Mexican cartels.
