Great, didn’t they do enough damage in Seattle already.

If they started friendship with Israel, they won’t stay that poor for long.

Google
Chad, officially known as the Republic of Chad, is a landlocked country in north-central Africa. It is bordered by Libya to the north, Sudan to the east, the Central African Republic to the south, Cameroon to the south-west, Nigeria to the southwest, and Niger to the west.

We lived in Saudi Arabia five years (for the money) and we traveled twice to Africa. We went all over the Middle East and to Egypt TWICE. They like Americans...what a shock that was.
Chad now has some value because of its petroleum wells.
Once that's gone...Chad will fall back into its usual stupor of poverty.

Some of the Gulf States have already run out of petroleum and have to look to "Uncle" Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their long-term petroleum needs. The KSA has, apparently, another 200 years of the "black gold."

I doubt if a friendship with Israel will benefit them. It's SO far away from there.

“If they (Chad) started a friendship with Israel, they won’t stay that poor for long.”

There really is something to that. And Israel will likely benefit financially as well.

If you multiply that effect, over the many countries, spanning different regions, that seem likely to join this new partnership with Israel, we could be looking at an epic economic and outlook investment opportunity in Israel. Add in a pipeline of cash from the Leviathan offshore gas field, and business will be booming.

I think the development incentive of partnering with Israel (and the USA) is potent, and could be a major strategic driver for Prince MBS to bring the Saudis on board, to bring to life his dream of the new City of Neom (a 2 1/2 hour drive down the coast from Eilat). Israel can network in the skills, technology and resources of the Jewish diaspora in the USA, Europe and Russia.

That is what I am looking for - a string of recognition and normalization deals, culminating in the big deal October Surprise of Saudi-Israeli recognition.

Israeli companies can manage agricultural enterprises, and a host of other types of businesses that Chad needs. It is a Green Field to grow in, as long as the Government’s tax and regulatory regimes are favorable.

If they institute business friendly policies, Israeli companies can really help jump start their economy and development.

Chad is landlocked and arid, as well as being in sub-Saharan Africa, where sh!tholes are the rule, not the exception. If Israel could introduce its advanced agricultural methods and also provide a market for Chadian goods, it would be a huge plus for Israel and Chad, and attract further interest in the rest of the dark continent from all the other sh!thole sub-Saharan nations. Friendship with Israel is the imperialism of good ideas, which enrich everyone.

Grow crops in Chad on cheap land, and sell them in the EU.

Take the business away from Turkey.

If, as widely rumored, Sudan Normalizes relations with Israel, products could be trucked from Chad to Sudan’s Red Sea Ports.

Maybe some low wage manufacturing - Africa is the last frontier on Earth for low wages, as the whole planet raises its standard of living.

Maybe they might have some minerals or hydrocarbons that could be developed, to pay for infrastructure like electrical generation, roads and rail.

For those curious as to where Chad is. It's landlocked in the middle of Africa.

“No competition with Chinese slave laborers, of course./s”

China has well developed infrastructure to store and transport goods, as well as available managerial and technical workers, that Chad will have to develop (without a Confucian work ethic to help). So Chad is pretty rock bottom on the business readiness scale for now.

But every place was at one time, and it is no mystery what needs to be done. Successful models can be replicated more quickly now, than ever before. The real bottom line is policies that allow enough profit to incentivize investors. That can turn a rocky island into Hong Kong, or a stretch of desert into the City of Gold (Dubai).

Ethiopia has been successful at it. They attracted a lot of Chinese businessmen over the last 20 years, many of whom want to be able to be free of the oppressive overwatch (and shakedowns) of the Chinese communist Party.

A lot of low wage jobs, like clothes and shoe manufacturing, relocated there. Ethiopia achieved double digit GDP growth rates, for more than the last decade. They have been called “the African Lion Economy” (like the “Asian Tiger Economies”). Average wages doubled, and have nearly doubled again. The infrastructure has greatly improved, to support future development.

Africa is the like the Wild West for business opportunity - significantly untapped and undeveloped. It is the last such big frontier on Earth. There is still an opportunity to get in on the ground floor for a lot of industries and markets. It is really ripening as a potential place to do business, after years of slow progress by the African Union to harmonize business and customs regulations, more like the European Common Market (but a stable local Government is still key).

Chad’s central location can be an asset, as well as a hindrance. It can be a land (and cultural/linguistic) bridge, between the huge Nigerian market (Africa’s largest) on it’s Western border and Red Sea port’s (on the major trade routes to both Europe and Asia) through Sudan to the East. Central Africa’s huge mineral wealth, and vast, undeveloped tropical forests lies to its South.

Yes, God loves ALL of His creations...even Hindus, Buddhists, animists and...atheists.
It's God's decision on who ends up with Him in eternity, isn't it? Who are WE to say who worships false gods and who are we to condemn others for not worshiping our own version of god?

However, I am not denigrating your response as you ARE free to express your opinions on this fabulous website.

Ridiculous to the infinite degree. The Bible is full of passages that refute the Authenticity of the Quaran and encourages us to test all spirits Yes, the God of the Quran because it denies the Son of God. I can say it, because I did what the Bible instructed me to.

No response is necessary, I won’t read it.
