“If they (Chad) started a friendship with Israel, they wont stay that poor for long.”
There really is something to that. And Israel will likely benefit financially as well.
If you multiply that effect, over the many countries, spanning different regions, that seem likely to join this new partnership with Israel, we could be looking at an epic economic and outlook investment opportunity in Israel. Add in a pipeline of cash from the Leviathan offshore gas field, and business will be booming.
I think the development incentive of partnering with Israel (and the USA) is potent, and could be a major strategic driver for Prince MBS to bring the Saudis on board, to bring to life his dream of the new City of Neom (a 2 1/2 hour drive down the coast from Eilat). Israel can network in the skills, technology and resources of the Jewish diaspora in the USA, Europe and Russia.
That is what I am looking for - a string of recognition and normalization deals, culminating in the big deal October Surprise of Saudi-Israeli recognition.
Chad is landlocked and arid, as well as being in sub-Saharan Africa, where sh!tholes are the rule, not the exception. If Israel could introduce its advanced agricultural methods and also provide a market for Chadian goods, it would be a huge plus for Israel and Chad, and attract further interest in the rest of the dark continent from all the other sh!thole sub-Saharan nations. Friendship with Israel is the imperialism of good ideas, which enrich everyone.
