New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday said he would not reopen indoor dining in New York City despite the infection rate being less than one percent for weeks in a row now because, he said, it would double the number of bars currently open and there is no one to enforce social distancing standards.
The reasoning came after a conglomerate of bar and restaurant owners sued the state for $2billion in damages, claiming they were being unfairly shackled and stopped from making money.
New York City - which has more bars and restaurants than any other city in the US - remains the only metropolis in the world that is yet to resume indoor dining.

Happy anniversary! Glad you enjoyed it.
The casualties of the Cuomo/Wilhelm regime continue to mount.
yep.
At some point mass civilian resistance will be the only way to survive. I would suggest that the NY’ers find a viable supply of tar, feathers and rails to ease the journey of Comrades out of town.
Every single restaurant in that city needs to open fully to all comers.
Then again, if they were independent thinkers they wouldn’t vote the way they do and wouldn’t have Cuomo and DiCommie-oh as their political leaders.
With those two in charge, NYC and the tax base for the state will die.
Since New York does not have term limits for serving governors, I wonder if Cuomo will run for re-election? Unfortunately, I think the dumdum dem voters of NY would re-elect him if he did.
Amendment V

Theres only two states left that are trying to prevent bars and restaurants and gems from opening and that is California and New York and theyre going to start to become under major pressure to release their lockdown strategies
If they just keep acting like stupid liberals with their fingers in the area is humming they actually may lose an election in these very liberal states
If only liberals truly understood the power that they have to get rid of these people
The reasoning came after a conglomerate of bar and restaurant owners sued the state for $2billion in damages...
You would like to think these people learned a lesson, but I’m betting they didn’t. Democrats will always own New York, even when it has been run completely into the ground.
But Wuhan doesn’t have a Presidential election this year with someone running for re-election that the ChiComs hate.
Yes, open anyway. Get video cameras and capture the cops tryingto close them down and riot!
Turn thd tables on them.
As in Kaiser Wilhelm?
There is something very sinister going on with all this COVID nonsense, as in demonic. It has become the new relogion of the Left. The mask shamers. The ongoing and unnecessary lockdowns. When I hear the Left start stammering that, “we follow the science”, I know for certain this has become their new religious dogma.
People are leaving New York in droves. Business lives are being destroyed, and no one really says anything other than, “Gee, isn’t this a shame”.
If masks are the answer, why do we need to maintain a 6ft distance?
If a 6ft distance is for safety, then why are masks required?
Last I knew NYS accounted for 8% of the nation’s GDP.
Or used to.
Fredo’s bro knows exactly what he’s doing.
Nah.. Cuomo is running national-level now.
Shhhhh, logic scares them.
Thankfully the fearbros have finallg shug the hell up.
But I’m also wondering if there aren’t some really rich people/entities planning on buying up some really cheap NYC real estate...
People can say anything, doesn’t make it true.
