Whoa. After days of protests in Rochester over the killing of Daniel Prude, mayor Lovely Warren just announced entire Rochester police department command staff, including the chief of police, is resigning.
This is on the Mayor...our not so Lovely mayor who hates whitey with a passion.
But will they have enough cops to arrest everyone who dare protect themselves from the mob?
Can’t say I blame any of them.
The city doesn’t have their backs, and normal people are afraid to speak up for them due to retaliation. 20 years, he’s got his pension, move out of state and either enjoy retirement or find another job.
Those under him must have a parachute as well I hope, but right now departments all over are trying desperately to find cops, they won’t be without work for long.
(As a side question, does anyone here follow Angry Cops on YouTube? He’s got almost 1M followers, and I saw a video where a NY national guardsman clocked a guy for spitting on him, sat on him and waited until the cops showed up. Rumor was it was him, anyone know if that’s true or not?)
Timing is everything, you know.
City dwellers do not elect the police chief, they elect idiots to run the city without thinking about security. I do not live in a city, but in an unincorporated area where we elect county Supervisors to run the county and we elect a Sheriff to protect and serve. Cities would be well-advised to contract the police services out to the Sheriff’s Department, no strings attached.
I guess the Chief and his fellow officers are afraid of all the right wing agitators who have been tearing up the city.
In a way, this is good news. I think more people will get involved in their school board, city council, Mayoral, and county board races. I’ve heard less than 10% of eligible voters vote in those races.
Hate that misuse of it to classify rather than just as a descriptive term.
This is happening more and more.
PCP was the cause of this dirtbags death!
PCP makes pain all but irrelevant to the user.
In virtually all cases of people who are arrested while under the influence of PCP, they have to be physically subdued in a violent manner.
Since they do not feel pain, it takes a lot of Cops and a lot of force to subdue a PCP user!
Not the Cops fault the dirtbag died!
And thus the myth of superhuman strength is forwarded re: PCP use.
Now the commie Mayor and City Council can put fellow travelers in those positions.
Never trust your family’s or your own safety and security to anyone except yourself.
