Originally....The masks were so you didn't cough or sneeze on someone.....and no more. The six feet was the distance a sneeze or cough travels. The mask was in lieu of coughing/sneezing into your elbow or a kleenex.

In other words...if you're sick...stay home.

Little by little, they changed the criteria. NOW, it's assumed that everyone in the entire country has it....so wear the damn UNNECESSARY mask.

The mask mandate (which I have not, and will not comply with) is only one facet of this BS. Unsure how it is in other states, but here in Maine, Comrade Mills continues to extend the “civil state of emergency” on a monthly basis. This allows her to keep her thumb on businesses, and constantly suckle from the “federal teat” to recoup some of the losses to the state’s economy that she inflicted with the BS shutdowns/closures. Of course, to hear her tell it, all of this is done (not unlike “Round heels Harris”)for the “greater good, and access to more, and much needed PPE”.
