This virus is a very bad actor even in people who have had mild symptoms and have “recovered”. Just beginning to appreciate the long term impairment of pulmonary function and the observation that up to 70% of the infected have some degree of myocarditis.Long term significance is not known. Personally will take a vaccine as soon as one is approved by the FDA. Also not adverse to objectively monitoring what is really happening with the Russian vaccine and keeping an open mind. Don’t underestimate this virus.
Testing is unreliable and gives many false positives. We do not have any good numbers on Covid-SARS-2. But looking at what happened in nursing homes in NY, NJ and Penn makes it very clear the the virus is deadly to the elderly.
I could care less: I’ve already had it. Even had I not, the outcome would have been the same. My working theory on this virus still stands and, ironically, the so-called ‘supercomputer model’ omits any analysis of targeting the virus in the pulmonary tract before it overwhelms the system with massive viral loads spawned in the lungs.
ps...I had mild symptoms and not only recovered, but defeated it.
