You’re right. One of the reasons that these wealthy white leftist kids are so unworried about committing any kind of criminal act that crosses their mind is that there is never any serious punishment. Look at the wealthy terrorists of the 1970s...their sentences, for things that included murder, were laughable, and in fact it was a resume enhancer for those who went into academia after serving their trivial jail time.
Some of these people are still out there causing trouble and are behind the current behavior of theIr spoiled-brat, arrogant, violent progeny.
